I have an opinion, that may be true may not. Even to this day I like Leaf Green more, yet am a Charizard fan, most likley due to the rumors as a kid on the playground of Japan and Green Version. sWhen we got it, in Leaf Green, it was something I needed, even as a fan of Red Version. Only roomers of it existing, that all we had to go on. The notorious Leaf Green, or Green version originally wasn't even avaible in the US. Why? I already played Fire Red, although it was just Red Version, also played Blue Version since many of my friends had it. When I was younger I got Leaf Green, no questions asked.
Everytime they are told to switch to Fire Red, pretty much no reason why except it's just "the superior version". I came across sevral posts of some random person wandering on some forum, and asking about Leaf Green tools or questions about the games data ect.
Many tools work with Fire Red and not Leaf Green and virtualy no tools, guides or anything exist for Leaf Green. If one thing is clear Fire Red has a much larger following at least as far as developers/users of ROM hacking tools. Actually have been looking into making a rom hack. I have been thinking just a little about Leaf Green and Fire Red.
